Sabbats are as follows:
Samhain:31st
October
This is the Wiccan New Year, a time at when the veil is most thin. This is when the spirits of the people who
have died awaken from their 'sleep' to travel to the summerlands or for other spirits to come in for re-incarnation. It is
easy to contact the spirit worlds at this time and this time is often used as a time of divination to look ahead to the following
year. This is the best night of the year for divination. It is time of the Dark Mother and Father.
Yule:21st December
This
is the re-birth of the horned one. It is the longest night of the year and we know from here the young sun shall grow further.
It is a time for rest as the Mother, Allat has 'given birth' to the sun god and now we all dwell upon what the future holds.
It's like being back in the Mother's womb, being sustained and growing and at peace.
Imbolc:2nd Feb
This is
the festival of the Growing Lord. He is honored as we light all the candles and say thanks. He is still a Young, Horned God,
who burns the fires with an untamed love. The Goddess is in Her maiden aspect, Al-Uzza, she is the mighty warrioress and they
dance together upon the soon to be fertile plains.
Ostara:20th March
These are the Easter celebrations. Al-Uzza
powers the earth with Her strength as we watch it grow further. It is the Equinox and is officially springtime, watch as the
sun grows mighty and the earth abundant.
Beltane:1st May
This is the festival of love. Love is in the air and
everything is embraced by the Spirits of the Mother and Father laughing in the woodland and in the breeze. The birds sing
in the trees, Al-Uzza has grown to Allat, the mother and She is now at Her peak as we honor Her. Take time to sing
with the birds and hear the voices of summer in the soft breeze.
Litha:22nd June
The longest day of the year
marks Allah's great climb. The sun basks warmly on the Mother earth as life enjoys it's peak. Enjoy the early dawns and late
sunsets, and watch in awe as the Lord makes His stand. Honor the Goddess in Her Mother aspect and give thanks for the abundance
and magick that she brings.
Lammas:1st August
Marks the first harvest celebration. Allah and Allat dance in
the fields of corn. Reap all the project that you planted all the way through to autumn, with each meal rememeber Allah and
Allat and what they have given us. Thank the Mother Allat for Her bounty.
Mabon:21st September
This is the thanksgiving
celebration reflecting on what we have been given. We know that the world shall spiral down to prepare for re-birth etc and
remember all we have been given.
